Bharti Airtel has announced Equal Monthly Installment (EMI) plans for iPhone 3G. The new EMI plans will be available to all VISA cardholders of ICICI bank, HDFC bank, SBI Cards and Citibank.

Certain SBI and Citibank card holders can even benefit from the new plans even if they’ve already bought the iPhone. This only applies to customers who have bought within the last ten days, though.

Sanjay Gupta, chief marketing officer, (Mobile Services) Bharti Airtel, said that this partnership with VISA will help the consumers buy iPhone 3G with relative ease. ICICI bank credit card customers can buy the 8 GB phone by paying Rs 2,583 in 12 installments in an year. SBI card holders can buy the phone by paying Rs 1654 a month in 24 installments.
